THE HASELGROVE COLLECTION

A chance comment during a telephone conversation with Anne Jones in February 2017 led me to enquire whether Mrs. Haselgrove would be prepared to lend me her Albums and Scrapbooks in order that I could copy this large and important collection of Dixie Grammar School related memorabilia. Fortunately, in the true Dixie spirit, she readily agreed.

I collected from her the three large albums of snapshots, postcards, pamphlets and press-cuttings, many of which were unknown to our Archive. At our Reunions members can examine exact reproduction albums from this set of treasured volumes.

Barbara Haselgrove (nee Mills) was a pupil at Dixie from 1946 - 1952 in Dixie House and attended the first reunion, at The Greyhound, Sutton Cheney, in 1984.
