Message to members regarding the proposed
Annual Reunion 2021

Dear Members
The committee met last week to discuss the arrangements for our Annual Reunion to
be held on Saturday 2 October 2021.
As you will know, nearly all remaining Covid restrictions were lifted in England
on 19 July, including an end to social distancing rules. This means there are no
limits on how many people can meet and an end to the 1m-plus distancing rule. Capacity
limits are lifted for all venues and events and face coverings are no longer required
by law, although the government still "expects and recommends" them in crowded and
enclosed spaces.
As things stand, the committee felt that we should proceed with our plans to hold
the Reunion on 2 October. We look forward to seeing you then – keep your fingers
crossed!
