A fully hardy, tall evergreen shrub with dark red flowers up to 4 ins. across. As
with all Camellias it prefers a well drained, fertile acid soil and a position out
of the morning sun. Well suited to a shady site it will grow to around 28 feet when
fully mature.

A small cactus flowered Dahlia held in one of the National Collections. A reliable
variety, with cerise/lilac blooms that will flower right up until the first hard
frosts. One for the “Show Bench” perhaps!
